Pityriasis Rosea
It is a skin lesion That is characterized By what is called Herald Patch:
central area of Cafe o' lei color surrounded by a collarette surrounded by erythema)
N.B. It must be differentiated from "Tinea Circinata" by the site of the scales in relation to the erythema
If the erythema surrounds the scales then its pityriasis rosea
If the scales surrounds the erythema with central zone of pallor then it is Tinea Circinata
Criteria For Spot Diagnosis:(Herald Patch)
1. Central zone of cafe o'lei color
2. Collaratte of scales
3. Surrounding Erythema
